BTC Membership Terms & Conditions

Members’ Car Park
For proof of identification and membership, BTC members are required to show their membership badge to gain access to the Members’ Car Park.  On Bunbury Cup Day, an alternative Members’ Car Park will be provided.


Members’ Entry
Due to liquor license legislation, the Bunbury Turf Club must account for the numbers of members and members’ guests at each race meeting.  To enable us to meet this requirement, all BTC members must present and identify themselves and their guests at the Members’ Gate or the Main Gate.  We will register your attendance and your guest’s attendance (if applicable) via the recording register. The free race book (1 per member) will be dispensed. We ask that members please do NOT access the BTC via the horse gate entry.


Members Access
Members have access to the Heron Bridge Members’ Grandstand and the Rogan Josh Members’ Deck on all race days except Bunbury Cup and Bunbury Stakes Day, when only Heron Bridge will be available. The new outdoor extension of the Heron Bridge Members’ Grandstand will be available on all race days.

Members must clearly show their BTC membership badge at all times.  Members’ guests must clearly show their BTC guest badge at all times.


Members’ Dress Code
Gentlemen: 

  • Gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt with either dress shorts or trousers. 
  • Enclosed footwear, other than joggers, is required at all times.

Ladies:

  • Ladies are required to wear either a dress, trousers, skirt or dress shorts with a blouse or top.
  • Singlet tops, jogging shoes and thongs are not permitted.

Please note:

  • Denim is not acceptable.
  • Offensive slogans on attire are not permitted.

We ask all members to please inform their guests of the BTC Members' Dress Code to avoid embarrassment.


Children
Children are permitted with BTC members on all race days except Bunbury Cup, Bunbury Stakes Day and Melbourne Cup Day.  Children are to be supervised at all times.

To enable security to identify member’s children, members are required to collect a Children’s Members Day Pass on the race day they attend.


Bookings for Members Areas
Members may reserve tables in the Heron Bridge Members' Grandstand or the Rogan Josh Members' Deck by contacting the office to make a booking on a weekly basis. To guarantee your table on the day, you must arrive before the first race or the table will be released.

Please note that the Rogan Josh Members' Deck is not available for reservation on Bunbury Cup Day or Bunbury Stakes Day. On Melbourne Cup Day, reserved tables in Heron Bridge and Rogan Josh must include our catering option.
