Race 1 – 12:41PM TABTOUCH BETTER YOUR BETTING EXPERIENCE MAIDEN (1000 METRES)

MOOD SWINGS has caught the eye at trials and expecting him to make an impact on debut. Wasn’t fully extended in his latest Belmont 14/04 heat behind Chokslaw and liked the way he covered the ground late. With a patient Chris Parnham ride, Mood Swings will be running on with strength late. DE PLACE was really competitive on debut, making the odds on Miss Merit earn the win. Should roll forward and figure prominently. Really liked the Belmont 14/04 trial win by HARIASA, but the pads going on is a query on debut, while first-upper SHAPE SHIFTER should be doing her best work late.

Tips: 3-5-9-2
Suggested: 3. MOOD SWINGS win.

3. MOOD SWINGS
5. DE PLACE
9. HARIASA
2. PROJECTION

Race 2 – 1:20PM AMELIA PARK MAIDEN (1675 METRES)

Found it hard to separate ROMAN FLIRT and INTERSTATE, eventually siding with the Pike-ridden Roman Flirt. Should be close to peak fitness after two runs back and maps to advantage also from this handy draw. Did place behind the smart Tollman this track/distance last prep, so should take some beating. Interstate was well supported at Ascot last Saturday, but played up in the gates and was scratched. Latest Ascot 15/04 results reads well and this low alley is another positive. NIGHT SESSION appears to be looking for the mile, while MISS MALIBU continues to perform consistently.

Tips: 5-4-8-6
Suggested: 5. ROMAN FLIRT win.

5. ROMAN FLIRT
4. INTERSTATE
8. NIGHT SESSION
6. MISS MALIBU

Race 3 – 2:00PM FURPHY – REFRESHING ALE MAIDEN (1400 METRES)

Have followed WORTH A RISK closely all prep and going to go again with the Pearce Bros-prepared 4YO. Last three efforts have been rock solid and while she is 34 days between runs, this assignment doesn’t look as tough as what she’s competed against of late. Anticipating positive riding tactics and should get every chance up on top of the speed. MIMS WIN certainly deserves to win one, having been knocking on the door for some time now. Has to be considered a major player. APACHE RABBIT caught the eye at trials and again first up, so she’s a contender, while JOLLY ODD can’t be dismissed also.

Tips: 1-9-7-4
Suggested: 1. MIMS WIN win.

1. MIMS WIN
9. APACHE RABBIT
7. JOLLY ODD
4. VITAL IMAGE
*Numbers amended after scratchings

Race 4 – 2:40PM TABTOUCH – BETTER YOUR BET MAIDEN (1200 METRES)

Confident one of NOT MY FIGHT or CHOKSLAM will be winning this, and narrowly opting for Not My Fight on top. Has a slight race-fitness edge and liked the way she knuckled down to chase Stella Door at Pinjarra last Sunday. Maps well and expecting the quick back up to be a positive also. Chokslam showed plenty last prep and looked as though she’s come forward nicely in her soft Belmont 14/04 trial win. Gate one may prove problematic, but still expecting her to be very hard to beat. First-upper BLACK LIGHTNING maps nicely with Pike on, while PHOENIX OF WIT could be a big improver.

Tips: 6-11-2-3
Suggested: 6. CHOKSLAM win.

6. CHOKSLAM
11. BLACK LIGHTNING
2. PHOENIX OF WIT
3. SWEET RULER
*Numbers amended after scratchings

Race 5 – 3:15PM LONG LEAF AT RANGEVIEW STUD HANDICAP (1200 METRES)

AGENT JAY stands out. Returned from a let up in maiden company recently and after finding the front, made it a one-act affair, drawing clear to win by 3.7L. Expected to be ridden similarly by Shaun McGruddy and he’s going to take some running down out in front. DANI BELLA looks well placed coming in grade and should be just about ready to produce a peak performance third up. GIBRALTAR DANCER should enjoy a lovely run stalking the leaders from this draw, while THE NATUROPATH can go on with it after a narrow maiden win last start.

Tips: 2-3-1-5
Suggested: 2. AGENT JAY win.

2. AGENT JAY
3. DANI BELLA
1. GIBRALTAR DANCER
5. THE NATUROPATH

Race 6 – 3:50PM TABTOUCH STREAM RACING LIVE HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

No reason why ANGELIQUE’S FAME can’t make it three on the trot. Has attacked the line with strength to win her last two at this venue, and while coming back to the 1000m is a slight query, she does tick plenty other boxes. Race fit/in form and well drawn, so supporters should get a run for their money. Class runner AMARILLO ROSE makes return to racing and has a lead-up Belmont trial under her belt. Should jump-and-run and take some catching. Fellow front-runner MISSING PRO is back from a freshen and her best is certainly good enough, while the same can be said for COSMIC EYES.

Tips: 5-1-2-6
Suggested: 5. ANGELIQUE’S FAME win.

5. ANGELIQUE’S FAME
1. AMARILLO ROSE
2. MISSING PRO
6. COSMIC EYES

Race 7 – 4:20PM SKY RACING.TV PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP HEAT (1400 METRES)

Confident untapped 3YO POWER OF ST GEORGE is up to the task. Won impressively first up before not a lot went right in transit in a slowly-run race at Ascot last start, charging home late with some of the best splits of the day. Will be suited by a more genuine tempo in this and with an uninterrupted run Power Of St George can get it done. Fellow youngster ROCKY PATH is in better form than the numbers suggest and surely has to be aided by the booking of W. Pike. Should be launching late. KAKADU had no luck at all last start, BEL MY PAGO has class on her side, while BEE QUICK is in the mix also.

Tips: 7-14-2-1
Suggested: 7. POWER OF ST GEORGE win.

7. POWER OF ST GEORGE
14. ROCKY PATH
2. KAKADU
1. BEL MY PAGO
11. BEE QUICK

Race 8 – 4:55PM TABTOUCH GIDDY UP PREMIUM FORM HANDICAP (1675 METRES)

Tough race to finish the day and siding with MERIVALE MAGIC back on her home track. Was a bit keen in the early-and-middle stages second up at Pinjarra 16/04 and as a result didn’t finish off as expected, but expecting an improved showing rising to the mile third up and it’s worth following up if you were on last start. THE LAST BREEZE has come back from a freshen in good nick and with even luck from the high draw should be fighting out the finish. Reckon COOL FROST is just about ready to fire, while possible leader WHO’S A PRETTY GAL is racing well enough to measure up to this grade.

Tips: 5-2-4-6
Suggested: 5. MERIVALE MAGIC each way.

5. MERIVALE MAGIC
2. THE LAST BREEZE
4. COOL FROST
6. WHO’S A PRETTY GAL
